Welcome to the National Association for Continuing Education webcast from the NACE Challenges in Pulmonary and Critical Care 2016 conference. The topic of this webcast is Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension: Choice of Therapy.

Learning Objective(s):
After completing this program participants should be able to:

  1. Discuss the pathophysiology and etiologies of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.
  2. Determine when PAH should be suspected and how to determine the specific etiology including the importance of right heart catheterization and ventilation-perfusion (V/Q) scan.
  3. Discuss methodology to assess severity of illness in PAH.
  4. Discuss the treatment principles and the therapeutic agents in PAH.
