  1. Identify the pathophysiology of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH)
  2. Recognize when PAH should be suspected and how to determine the specific etiology
  3. Identify the parameters that determine the severity of PAH
  4. Discuss the treatments and how to appropriately refer and follow patients receiving treatment for PAH
