Program Summary:

Join Dr. Gregg Sherman and Dr. Penny Tenzer and stay on track to fulfill your CME requirements from the comfort of your home. Utilizing an interactive, moderator led format, this program will present discussions with national thought leaders to help you hone your skills in the diagnosis and management of patients you are likely encountering in your practice. You will be able to interact with the faculty real-time to get your questions answered.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify and describe the clinical features of psoriatic skin and joint disease; Review and discuss associated comorbidities and emerging bio factors and their significance in the management of psoriatic disease; Discuss the expanding and dynamically changing treatment paradigm for psoriasis and its related disorders; Review and interpret up to date evidence-based clinical trial data and the latest treatments available for the management of psoriatic disease
  2. Recognize actinic skin damage and appropriate treatment options; Identify clinical features of basal cell carcinoma and management strategies; Recognize when to suspect squamous cell carcinoma and how to manage in practice; Identify various forms of melanoma and current treatment options
  3. Recognize patterns of liver injury; List non-invasive tests for evaluating liver function abnormalities; Implement appropriate diagnostic workup for patients presenting with abnormal liver function tests
  4. Define sleep health and summarize its clinical importance; Communicate risk factors associated with not getting enough sleep; Explain the sleep/wake cycle and circadian rhythms; Identify common sleep disorders in primary care; Use appropriate diagnostic tools to assess patients’ sleep health
