We have developed our web site so that you can peruse course offerings in all of our course catalogs without identifying yourself or revealing personal information. Once you desire to register for a course, check the status of your account to see what courses you have registered for or completed, subscribe to an e-newsletter, or want to have access to health news sections of our web site you will be asked to provide personal information (any information by which you can be identified). After you provide this information, NACE will consider you to be a member of our online community and will grant you secure access. You can be assured that your personal information will only be used to support your relationship with NACE in the goal of providing you with information about our educational programs.

What type of information do we collect?
We collect the following information when you visit our web site:

The session ID is just a random string assigned each time you visit the portal and the UID is an internal ID assigned to you when you registered with NACE.

In addition to using this data for registration and entry into our database, we may use this information to contact you with email updates when new material is posted to the site. If you want to change your status regarding this notification at a later time, you can change it yourself when you receive such notifications. We will also use this contact information to contact you with email follow-up surveys that are required to ensure you recieve your certificates for completing educational activities.

We do not share our registrants information with other institutions or organizations, except as may be required by law. However, your name may be published in the list of registrants in the syllabus of the particular course for which you have registered.
If a fee is charged and registrants can pay online, we ask for credit card information. These transactions are encrypted before transmission over the internet.
Information collected when you participate in a CME activity: We ask participants to complete a knowledge test and we ask them to evaluate the CME activity providing feedback to us on the educational value of the activity.
How do we use the information we receive from you?
NACE uses your information to better understand your interests, needs, and the types of services that we can provide to better your experience on our web site. We use your personal information to help you complete a transaction, to communicte back to you, to update you on services and benefits, and to personalize our web site for you.
Who do we share your information with?
NACE does not sell, rent, or lease your personally identifiable information to others. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, we will only share personal data you provide online with other CME entitites and/or business partners who are acting on our behalf to complete the activities described above. As described above, we use encryption when collecting or transferring sensitive data such as credit card information.
